T'was the night of February 5th and my family were all seated around the Shobbos table. I still felt keenly the loss of the Stream that evening so I decided to do something commemorative. I decided to have my very first taste of summit beer, which would also be my first beer ever of any kind. I'll drink vodka or scotch when the occasion calls for it and have a cup of wine by the Kiddush every Friday night and Shobbos afternoon but I never had a beer.
I turned to my father and asked, "Can i have a Summit?"
My father gave me a knowing look and said, "This is for Tommy's, isn't it?"
 "Yes."
"Well then, yes and make sure to put it in the freezer for a while before you try it."
So I went and got one and put in the freezer. Then I returned to my seat and continued my meal in anticipation.
Then finally it was time, I took it out got a new glass from the kitchen, sat down and opened the bottle. I tilted the glass and poured myself half a glass, lifted the cup and said, "Here's to Mischke." and drank. I wish I could say it was the best tasting beverage I'd ever had but it wasn't. It has a very nice flavor but it was bitterlike. "Is it supposed to taste bitter/" I asked my father. My father  immediately burst out laughing, and he laughed, oh did he laugh. When he finally stopped he said, "Thats just what beer tastes like!" Well I plan on getting used to it and definitely don't regret that Summit.Aand that was my very first Summit Experience.
So feel free to add to my thread. Just tell everyone what was your 1st summit like? Where were you? With whom? When was it like? (Who laughed?)

Till next time then,
Shmuly
